NV-2 Mechanical seal with spring in metal case
DIN 24960
The mechanical seal with a spring in a metal case is recommended for sealing liquids containing solid substances or badly contaminated liquids, such as fuel oil. In such cases, it is not recommended to use multi-spring seals due to the risk of spring adhesion and jamming.
The secondary seal is completed by means of an O-ring.
The seal design ensures its low-cost repair, as its parts are easily replaceable.
A hydraulically relieved vesrion of the seal with one spring in a metal frame is available.
